Black Peppermint Tea


Diet is not the answer to depression. Diet however, makes sense.


Black Peppermint Tea


Take a teapot, and place in it two or three very heaping tablespoons of cut peppermint from The Bulk Herb Store. Pour over top 3 cups of boiling water. Allow to steep only one minute or so. If you let it steep longer, it will taste bitter, because of using so much peppermint! Strain out peppermint leaves as pouring into a very large mug (use a tea strainer). Add one heaping teaspoon of raw honey (this makes it more palatable), and drink after cooling slightly.

Peppermint is a great healing herb, and I like to drink it in concentration like this if I am tired, tempted to get a headache, or for any kind of stomach issue. Would be good for congestion as well.


Note: I see on their website that Bulk Herb Store also sells peppermint tea in bags. This would be an easier choice, just use 2 or three bags instead of the loose tea.
